i’ve just lost hundreds of docs and pdfs and i’m beyond pissed right now
they’re all permanently gone

google drive is a mess sometimes with its storage things and if you’re unlucky it might delete some of your files and you won’t realise until it’s well past the point where they won’t be in ‘trash’ anymore and you’re fucked
all is not lost however!
if you’re on drive via browser, hit the little ? in a circle next to the settings cog and select “help”
search for “file recovery”
it’ll show you the ways to try and recover your files on pc, android, and mac etc
these don’t matter
you need to scroll down to the bottom and just hit the “contact us”
you’ll be logged out automatically
log back in
click the little box to give google permission to attempt to restore your files for that account
click “submit”
give them some time to work but it’s an automatic process
i’ve got most of my files back in less than 10 minutes
all is not lost! rejoice!

Ok so two things I’ve noticed/observed/read on Wikipedia while researching for fic:
Muriel, in some version of literature, becomes Abaddon, the Angel of Death (and is also a Dominion which I believe is a much higher position than what they are in go2)
Muriel acts a lot like mind-wiped Gabriel, with their deep trust of anything they’re told and their malleability and their sheer joy at the world
Anyway…just some observations…
I would also like to point out that Muriel’s position in 37th scrivener? Which is only a level above the point that Gabriel was going to be demoted to
It could mean that Muriel themself was demoted at some point…
Can’t stop thinking about in Heaven when Muriel is like “38th is pretty good actually!! I’m 37th 😇.” And Crowley gives them that little squinchy-smile and shoulder bump. Like I get he was probably acting sarcastic but it made me squeal bc it was so cute and I like to think he wasn’t being sarcastic. Hopefully if we get a season 3 there’s more cutesy little moments with Crowley being supportive of Muriel bc they’re just too innocent for their own good, esp with Muriel running the bookshop.
Kay, it’s official: I love Muriel. I’ve seen people use they/them pronouns for Muriel and also she/her pronouns, so I’m going with a headcanon that Muriel uses she/them pronouns
Thinking about writing a crack fic with Aziraphale and Crowley literally adopting all the angels that come down to earth. It started with Muriel and once they got “compromised” (by heaven’s standards that is), heaven just keeps sending new, innocent angels down that basically turn into human shaped golden retrievers by experiencing the most mundane items on earth
